This might seem a pretty rude question for this sub-reddit, but I thought where else to look for the right answer than this place. I'm a beginner and I've been thinking about learning web development for some time now. Few people on the internet suggest to not get into this field now because this market is pretty saturated. I've read many people say that drag-and-drop to build websites is common and a lot cheaper so clients prioritize that. But some still say it's never going to get outdated and people prefer hand-coded websites. I'm really confused if I should invest my time in it or not. If in case web dev is not suitable then what other alternatives should I go for?

Is it still worth it to get into web development in 2019?
